Pipeline Cleaning Technology
Cleaning mean to clear out impurities like Welding slag and soil,and to check the pipeline for its patency,and make preparation for production,and lay foundation for orderly cleaning after production.
1、 Launch a pig at the Head: Pig Launcher is a plant a bit oversizes the target pipeline in diameter,install the pig into the Launcher and close the blind shield,then feed at the back of the pig with compressed air,the back pressure of the pig soon rises to push it into the target pipeline,the pigging speed is usually controlled within 3/3.5m/s.  2、Pigging Inspection: Normally a transmitter sending out electrical magnetic signals is installed to pigs.During the cleaning,a reciever is preinstalled at special point like a bend or cross-over,so that it will give alarm when the pig passes by.
3、Receivin the Pig At the End: Pig Receiver,similar with launcher,is used to receive the pig and is easier to remove it from the pipeline.It is consiered acceptable when the pig has arrived at the end safe and scratchfree,and not much dirty water and dirt coming out..
