Crude oil tank cleaning system (COW) is an onshore oil storage tank cleaning system developed and studied in the world, who was exploited 20 years ago. In 1999, Zhongtuo company spent huge sums of money to introduce from abroad a set of COW technology and equipment.
This technology is a technical method that using the spray cleaning machine, we spray the cleaning media, who can be crude oil or the same kind of medium, on the surface remain to clean under certain temperature, pressure and flow in order to remove the surface coagulation and sludge for which we will operate the treatment and recovery. According to the construction requirements and site conditions, hot water and diesel oil can also be used after washing the crude oi as the cleaning media. Because crude oil contains the lightweight element viz solvent composition who speeds up the disintegration of coagulation and sludge in the oil sludge of sediment, the broken sludge mixes, dissolves and diffuses with the cleaning oil, eventually recycled by pumping. Crude oil cleaning process needs to recur to the purer crude oil. We usually need to have an oil tank adjacent to the cleaned tank that is usually used as the crude oil recycling tank. The process pipeline connects the crude oil cleaning equipment with cleaning tank and recycling tank, which constitute a cleaning system.
