Domestic largest circulating water pipeline rehabilitation project in progress
--Rehabilitation project for Main pipe of circulating water pipeline network
Owner: Daqing Xinhua Power plant
Rehabilitation project for Main pipe of circulating water pipeline network commenced
on November 5th, 2015 at Daqing Xinhua Power plant Co.,Ltd. The target pipeline is
steel pipe with service life of 30 years, total length of the pipeline is 1065m
(Max diameter=2600mm, min diameter=1400mm). Stainless steel relining technology
was adopted for rehabilitation through mutual negotiation.
Our construction team faced with series of technical obstacles at the beginning of
this project, such as large diameter, much more bends, tee, reducer and serious
misalignment at pipe joints. Joint matching at bend and tee area presents much
difficulties for construction personnel, therefore they fabricated bracing equipment
which greatly reduced construction time and improved operation efficiency.
Leading by project manager, Mr. Wangmingyin and supported by Manager,
Mr. Zhangenfang, all team members are working together and site operation is still
ongoing smoothly under server weather conditions in northeast china.
The first pipeline is expected to be completed at early January and followed with
commissioning.
This project fills the technical gaps for stainless steel relining rehabilitation of extra-large diameter pipeline. After “Year 2011 Outstanding trenchless project award”
from CSTT and “ZTPE stainless steel relining rehabilitation technology” was approved
by Ministry of housing and urban rural development, this project will be a new
milestone in the process of stainless steel relining rehabilitation technology development.
