The total length of Hadi Da FPF to Barilla CPF 12inch crude oil pipeline
is 151 km, with design pressure of 10Mpa and normal operating pressure
of 2.5Mpa, because of the wax inside the pipe, since April 2013, Hadida
crude oil pipeline transportation pressure began to rise, Prior to pipeline
cleaning operation, head end of the line pressure reaches 9Mpa.
The wax cleaning job starts at on March 18. During the operation, our
company strictly complied with the technical requirements, the HSE
management processes and regulations. On May 15th, the acceptance
test pig ball successfully reached the end of the CPF station, marking
the successful completion of Hadi Da pipeline wax cleaning project.
After the ball through the pipeline, the operating pressure drops to
2.5Mpa.
Although the pipeline is long distances, wax blocking serious, and there
are certain risks, though preliminary investigation and rehearsal, tight
organization and management of construction and scientific risk
management and control, we successfully completed the operation l,
which again prove our management and technical strength, and also
get the praise and recognition of owner.
After the project starts, the company leadership gave active support and
care, giving priority to pigging ball procurement and transportation, and
had organized discussions of wax cleaning programs, technical difficulties
and emergency treatment measures. After the onsite construction began
in Sudan, branch manager Gong Jindong carefully organize and all
